Why we started

A new technology moment needs a better bridge.

We believe smart cooking is approaching an inflection point.

Robotic vacuum cleaners existed long before they became common in homes. The idea was visible, but the technology, reliability, and user experience needed time to become genuinely useful. Over the last few years, that category moved from novelty to everyday tool.

Commercial cooking automation is now beginning a similar transition. We have seen the technology advance quickly and the conversation move from what a machine can demonstrate to how it can perform in a real kitchen, in another country, with a specific menu and operating team.

At the same time, capable Chinese companies often struggle to explain their products overseas, while international buyers struggle to identify the real manufacturer, compare unfamiliar technologies, and turn incomplete information into a sound purchasing decision. Botwok was created to make that connection more useful for everyone involved.

The people behind Botwok

Business judgment meets kitchen experience.

Our team looks at both sides of the decision: how a project moves across borders and how the equipment must perform when service begins.

What verification means to us

Know who is behind the machine.

A polished video or catalogue does not prove who designed, built, configured, or supports a product.

We work closer to the source.

  1. Find the people behind the machine

We speak directly with company owners, designers, engineers, and product teams—not only the account publishing a sales video.

  2. Confirm who does what

We establish where the factory is and clarify whether the company is a manufacturer, brand owner, distributor, or another commercial partner.

  3. Understand the product story

We learn how the machine was developed, who supports it, and where important technical or commercial questions still need evidence.

How we think

Four principles behind our work.

Fit before features

The right equipment starts with the kitchen, menu, workflow, utilities, and business objective—not the longest specification list.

Direct communication

We bring buyer questions closer to the people who understand the machine and turn technical conversations into clear next steps.

Evidence before assumptions

We separate what is known, what is claimed, and what still needs to be demonstrated or confirmed for a specific project.

Practical progress

Our work is designed to help clients narrow options, understand trade-offs, and make a better-supported purchasing decision.
